The Turkish-Slovak Business Community (TSBC) recently participated in IDA Türkiye (Industrial Cooperation Days in Defense, Aerospace, and High-Tech Industry) in Ankara. The high-level gathering brought together leading industrial stakeholders, technology developers, suppliers, and trade associations from across Türkiye and around the world. Prominent Turkish defense and high-tech leaders were present at the event, including Aselsan, Roketsan, and MKE, among many other key industry players.
As part of TSBC’s mission to foster bilateral trade and strategic partnerships between Türkiye and Slovakia, our team held B2B discussions with Turkish companies, export associations, and industrial organizations looking to expand into Slovakia and the broader European Union market.
A primary focus during our discussions was highlighting how Turkish companies can leverage joint ventures and collaborative agreements with European partners to access significant EU funding programs (such as Horizon Europe and the European Defence Fund).
